Synopsis
When Evangeline Geste is framed and exiled, she meets a cager called Lachlann who takes her in. Though he claims to have dreamed of their meeting, Evie is wary of him since cagers are known for their trickery to gain the trust of their victims. When she attempts to escape him, she discovers that her father has been killed and her mother, taken by dragon slayers. Lachlann is her only hope to find her mother but he’s after her heart and Evie is not sure whether he wants to woo her or wound her.

A dragon cager is a creature that can change from dragon to human. In Greidon, England they are known to be dangerous.
Death by a dragon is feared above any other death.
The Dragon Cager takes place in a time similar to the 1800's.
Excerpt:
Evie couldn’t believe it. The people had already made their decision about her fate. She was looked on as nothing but a thieving harlot because a powerful man played with the government. Aurthur must have bribed them to turn against her.
She was innocent; raised in a Christian home with moral values. She’d never confronted a man in any disrespectful way, nor had she ever put her fingers to anything that didn’t belong to her. It wasn’t right that she was being punished for something her own beliefs condemned.
She wouldn’t let them do this to her; to her family. There was no honor in lying to lessen a punishment but there was honor in declaring the truth even when most wouldn’t believe her and that’s what she would do. She would tell them the truth that God knew as well as she, even if it meant being a dragon’s next meal.
